Have you ever worn a bikini to school?

Yes, just to spite the principal.
In my junior year of high school we had a principal who was just off. He took up over half of pep rallies with just him talking and was mad we wouldn't get hyped up. He chose really pathetic dress up days for homecoming and the crosstown showdown and complained about low participation. He was also creepy and had commented on my appearances and how mature I looked and that if he was my father he'd be worried, but then proceeded to tell me I looked really good. All around sad, weird dude. I couldn't stand him. So I made it my goal to make him regret complaining about low spirit week participation. Most my friend had agreed to all dress up, I just took things a little further.
It just so happened that we had Hawaiian day mid-week. I found a tan pair of pants and a tan tank top as close to my skin tone and as tight fitting as I could get, and borrowed a very skimpy bikini, which I wore on top of my outfit. I put on a loose, button up Hawaii themed shirt you'd expect to see on a middle aged dad on vacation and a couple of cheap leis, leaving the shirt unbuttoned.
My outfit looked so much like I was wearing nothing under the bikini that several people actually came up and asked me. Teachers and the principal eyed me uncomfortably, but I was technically in dress code still and they couldn't do much.
I can say my little stunt did make a difference. It was two years ago. That year dress code was changed to forbid swim wear in any form. The school has also stopped Hawaiian days, which were used every year before that. And luckily for my little brother, who is in his first year at that high school that principal is gone, but I highly doubt that's related to my little stunt.
Several times actually.
First one that I actually recall would have been the summer of third or fourth grade. The local school ran a day camp and was largely staffed by teachers from the regular school year.
So this particular day camp program sends everyone to the ocean once a year.
Permission slip signed, I got on the bus.
I got off the bus, and dumped the cover-up.
The gym teacher was shocked for about 5 Seconds, and made comment to that effect; but I don't think anyone else was. Not every bikini is a string bikini. Think full coverage panties and a tank crop top with ruffles sewn on it in Floral Hawaiian type fabric. Pretty conservative, even by yesterday's standards
The next year, same event, I hit them with the grey and orange sporty version of the same thing. Nobody cared.
Then there was the school that required me to wear the bikini.
My school was renting space from another building that had a pool. We're all notified the day before that we were to wear a bathing suits under our clothing so we could go swimming the next day. We're kids, so course we went along with it.
The next day, towards the end of the day, we learn what really happened after not getting access to the pool.
The head of the school had decided to use us as a photo op. We were to be photographed around the pool for one of their school brochures, but not actually allowed access to the pool at anytime.
Where it gets better is that many students, including myself, had paper on file with the school explicitly forbidding them to use our image in any way to promote the school. My little piece of paper, filed by my father, went a little bit further saying they weren't allowed to take my picture at all in any capacity.
Oh yeah, Shady School administration abounds.
